Editorial Policies

  1. Plagiarism

The World Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Research upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original and should not have been published elsewhere or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using advanced detection software. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be rejected, and the authors may face sanctions, including being banned from future submissions.

  1. Peer Review Process

Our peer review process is designed to ensure the quality, validity, and relevance of the research we publish. Each manuscript undergoes a double-blind review, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the field and are required to provide a detailed, constructive critique of the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on the manuscript based on reviewer feedback, aiming for a fair and timely process.

  1. Ethics

Ethical standards are central to our publication process. Manuscripts must adhere to ethical guidelines concerning human and animal research. Authors must provide evidence of ethical approval from an appropriate review board or ethics committee. For studies involving human participants, informed consent must be obtained and documented. Research involving animals must follow the principles of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement).

  1. Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their work or opinions. Authors are required to disclose any financial or personal relationships that might be seen as a conflict of interest in their manuscript. Reviewers should recuse themselves from reviewing a manuscript if they have a direct conflict of interest with the authors or the subject matter. Any conflicts of interest are managed transparently to maintain the integrity of the review process.

  1. Data and Reproducibility

The World Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Research supports transparency in research. Authors are encouraged to provide access to their data and methodologies to enable reproducibility and verification of results. Supporting data should be made available in public repositories or as supplementary materials where applicable.

  1. Authorship and Contributor Responsibilities

Authorship credit should be based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the study should be listed as co-authors. Each co-author should approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal and ensuring that all co-authors are aware of and agree to the submission.

  1. Corrections and Retractions

Errors or inaccuracies in published articles must be corrected promptly. Authors are encouraged to submit a correction notice or erratum if significant errors are found after publication. In cases of research misconduct or serious errors affecting the validity of the results, the journal may issue a retraction. Retractions are published to correct the scientific record and inform the research community.

  1. Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals involved in the publication process. Personal information of authors, reviewers, and editors is handled with the utmost care and is not disclosed to third parties without consent. Manuscripts and reviews are treated as confidential until publication.
